Start a task, select a mode and verify its result

Click path

1. Choose Chat for discussion, Cowork for project actions or Code for coding.
2. Click New chat or create a session in the selected mode.
3. Check the model and add only required context through attachments or @ file references.
4. State the outcome and constraints. Start with a read-only README question.
5. Click Send. Review tool, arguments and affected files when confirmation is requested.
6. Inspect the answer, artifacts and any changed files against the original goal.

Verify and recover

Check session history and completed output; starting is not completion. Browser preview can lack native features. Fix provider/model selection, resolve pending confirmation, or stop with Esc. Inspect completed steps before restarting.
